{0.8} Laser-Cut Paper Vessel (collab)

Talking with my group members (Nick and River) we started taking really rough concepts on ideas for what to create for this project.

Out of all of these projects shown above we decided to go ahead with the pencil concept. The pencil is a pencil case that uses the pointed end and eraser to make sure the roll stays in place until you want to unroll it to access the pencils kept inside. Later we also got the idea to make a little drawer in the eraser to hold erasers as well.

We started by all drawing our own concepts and then going over them in class and combining or adding ideas to make one master design (that was how things like the eraser drawer where thought of and added, thanks River and Nick :) )

I 3d modeled the pencil with a simple scroll like insert to hold pencils with a little drawer for the erasers before sending the file to River, who flattened it. we cut it out and gave it to Nick to put together and voila! pencil holder and eraser holder.
